brow appointments
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is like a gentle perm for your brows. It softens and straightens your natural brow hairs, allowing them to be brushed into a more uniform shape. Whether you prefer a fluffy, feathery style or a sleek, clean look, this treatment helps enhance fullness, shape, and structure.
Why should I consider brow lamination?
This service might be perfect for you if:
You want your brows to appear fuller and more defined
You’re growing out your natural brows or have sparse areas
You’re not ready for permanent makeup
You struggle with uneven hair growth or unruly brows
People with difficult-to-style brows
Clients who feel their brows lack definition or shape
Who may not be a good fit for a brow lamination?
Brow lamination may not be suitable for:
Clients with little to no hair in certain areas
Those with alopecia affecting the brows
Anyone who doesn’t want added fullness
Individuals with dry or fragile brow hairs
Will it hurt?
Not at all. Most clients find the process comfortable. You may feel a slight tingling or warmth, and the skin might look a little pink temporarily, but that fades quickly.
How long do the results last?
The effect typically lasts 6–8 weeks with consistent upkeep and attending your maintenance appointment.
Is the tint required?
Tinting is completely optional. It adds temporary colour and definition to the brow hairs. The tint lasts up to 7 days on the skin and 2 weeks on the hairs.
Can I still wear brow makeup?
Definitely! After the initial 24-hour period post-treatment, you can apply your usual brow products to enhance your look.
Will my brows stay styled exactly how they looked after the appointment?
Not quite. Lamination helps make your brows more flexible and easier to shape, but you’ll still need to brush and style them daily with a brow gel or soap for the best look. Don’t worry—it’s quick and low-maintenance! I’ll also walk you through different styling options during your appointment.
How often can I get them laminated?
It’s best to wait 8–12 weeks between sessions to let your brows reset and avoid over-processing of the hairs.
When should I avoid brow lamination?
You should skip this service if you:
Have skin conditions like eczema or psoriasis
Are pregnant or nursing
Recently had eye surgery or cosmetic tattooing (within 6 weeks)
Are using brow growth serums
Have active cold sores, pink eye, or sunburn
Take blood thinners or have sensitive skin in the area
What kind of hair removal technique do you use?
I use precision waxing and/or tweezing to shape your brows. The method we choose depends on your skin type, sensitivity, and personal preference.
For waxing, I use Satin Smooth Zinc Oxide soft wax, which is specifically formulated for sensitive skin. It's gentle yet effective, helping to minimize redness and irritation while still delivering clean, defined results.
If you’re using products like retinoids or have highly sensitive skin, tweezing may be used instead to safely achieve your desired shape.
Your comfort and skin health are my top priorities!
lash appointments
Do eyelash extensions hurt?
Not at all! Lash extensions should feel completely comfortable. In fact, many clients find the service so relaxing that they fall asleep during their appointment. If you ever experience any discomfort during or after your session, please let me know right away so I can make it right.
How long do lash extensions last?
A full set typically lasts 2 to 4 weeks, depending on:
Your natural lash cycle and how quickly your lashes grow and shed
How well you care for them (daily cleansing and brushing matters!)
The number and condition of your natural lashes at the time of application
Whether or not you touch, rub, or pick at them
To maintain a full, fresh look, refreshes/fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks.
How long will my appointment take?
Applying lash extensions is a detailed process and shouldn’t be rushed.
Full sets take between 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the style you choose, how many natural lashes you have, and the health of your lashes.
Fills usually take 1 to 2.5 hours.
Keep in mind some things can slow down your appointment such as talking, answering phone calls during the appointment or having coffee before your appointment. Talking can slow things down (some clients naturally move their face while speaking, making it harder to isolate lashes). Caffeine may cause eye fluttering, which can also make application more challenging.
For the smoothest appointment, arrive relaxed and caffeine-free if possible!
What is a lash refresh/fill?
During a fill, I remove any grown-out extensions and replace them with fresh ones. It’s not just about filling in gaps—retaining lashes that have shifted too far out can actually lead to premature lash shedding, breakage, and damage over time. Proper fills help protect the health of your natural lashes while keeping your set looking full and flawless.
Do I have to wait 24 hours before getting my lashes wet?
Nope! That’s an outdated rule. Thanks to modern adhesives, your lash glue is fully cured by the time you leave your appointment. In fact, gently cleansing your lashes that same day can help with retention.
Can you do a fill on lashes done by someone else?
It depends. If your current set is clean, properly isolated, and not damaging, I can usually work over it. If the previous work isn’t up to standard, I will recommend a removal and new full set.
Please note: if I do work over another artist’s set (a foreign fill), it may take a couple of fill sessions to fully blend and transition the look into my style.
